What is Lumo Rewards?

Lumo Rewards is an online rewards program available to Lumo customers in South Australia. If you’re on a Lumo Plus or Basic plan, you’ll get access to hundreds of discounts on everything from dining out to travel via Lumo Rewards. All you need to do is log into your Lumo online account to browse daily deals, and check your email once a month for special offers. Access is even easier if you download the Lumo Rewards app where you’ll receive push notifications when new deals pop up.

How does Lumo Rewards work?

Lumo Rewards works by offering customers vouchers available for purchase that can be redeemed at participating retailers. You can shop online or on the Lumo Energy app, browse and select your preferred offer and purchase it. Lumo will then send you your digital voucher within 48 hours, or a physical voucher posted for a fee within three to six business days.

What sort of rewards will I get on Lumo Rewards?

Like most rewards programs, Lumo Rewards offers rewards over a range of daily expense categories, as well as items you might consider to be a splurge. Here are just a few areas in which you might see discounts and vouchers:

How do I redeem my Lumo Rewards?

Before you make your purchase, you’ll be able to see the method you’ll need to use to redeem your rewards. In most situations involving eGift cards, you’ll be able to access and use it on the spot. However, Lumo cautions that it’s best to purchase the card 24 hours before buying something online or in-store in case it doesn’t come through.

Do I have to be on a certain plan to get Lumo Rewards?

Yes. New Lumo Energy sign-ups will have to choose eligible Basic or Plus plans to gain access to the rewards program. Eligible customers who sign up for the Lumo Plus plan could also snag themselves a $25 credit to use in Lumo Rewards.

Customers can also expect to receive $50 worth of credit for each quarterly (or three successive monthly bills) bill they pay on time. Keep in mind that the aforementioned credits will expire 12 months after receiving them, so don’t forget to use them before they disappear for good.

Are there any fees attached to Lumo Rewards?

There isn’t a dedicated subscription fee attached to Lumo Rewards unless you count your power bills. Eligible Lumo customers have free access to a range of deals that could potentially give you great savings on everyday items if used responsibly.

One thing to flag, however, is that when purchasing discounted gift cards that have to be sent through the post, you may potentially be stuck with a delivery fee, which could lessen or even negate the savings altogether.
