Who is Midas?
Originating in Georgia, USA, Midas established itself in Australia in 1976 and hasn’t slowed down since. A series of acquisitions and effective marketing campaigns have seen the company increase its market share and quality of service. This year it has nabbed Canstar Blue’s coveted five-star rating for Most Satisfied Customers – Car Servicing.
Considering the fact that consumers granted five stars to Midas in every one of the eight rated areas (for example, value for money and customer service are two of the criteria), it’s clear beyond a doubt that Midas is has some very satisfied customers.

Canstar Blue’s most recent car servicing survey sought the opinions of more than 500 drivers across the country. Some of the comments from customers of Midas were as follows:
Friendly staff and efficient service. Good pricing on replacement (original parts) and overall service. Convenient location. Clean and tidy workshop. | Did not complete the job correctly, e.g. Did not reset the computer as needed. Everything else was greatly done. |
Really helpful, friendly staff, knows what they are doing and explain everything they did to you in easy to understand terms. | Took slightly longer than I thought. |
