What is the Pacific Four Rugby Series?
The World Rugby Pacific Four Series is an international women’s rugby union competition that sees Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Canada compete to qualify for a spot in the top two tiers of WXV. 2023 is the third edition of the competition with Australia, Spain and Canada putting their hands up to host for each round. The competition kicked off on April 1st in Spain with the USA losing to Canada 50 to 17.
When is the Pacific Four Series?
Round two of the series will see Australia and New Zealand rip in on Aussie home soil in Brisbane’s Kayo stadium. The series will conclude over the course of a weekend in mid-July with the champions crowned for 2023. The competition dates are:
- Round 1: Thursday June 29th Kayo Stadium, Brisbane, Australia
- Australia vs New Zealand 7:00pm (AEST)
- Round 2: Sunday July 9th TD Place Stadium, Ottawa, Canada
- Australia vs USA 06:00am (AEST)
- Canada vs New Zealand 09:00am (AEST)
- Round 3: Saturday July 15th TD Place Stadium, Ottawa Canada
- New Zealand vs USA 06:00am (AEST)
- Canada vs Australia 09:00am (AEST)
