With up to $30 off in total available, these discounts are available on the Essential and Plus plans for the first three months, reverting to the standard pricing after. Keep in mind that there is no discount on the cheaper Starter plan. These offers expire February 28, 2024, terms apply. Here’s what you’ll save:
- Essential Plan (with 25GB data): $25 per month for the first three months, $30 per month ongoing
- Plus Plan (with 40GB data): $30 per month for the first three months, $40 per month ongoing
These plans are prepaid SIM-only plans with no lock-in contracts, running on a monthly expiry period. The Essential and Plus plans both include 5G network access, along with data banking.
In addition to each plan’s inclusions, you’ll get a range of parental control features — something that sets Spriggy apart from other mobile providers. Through the Spriggy app, you’ll be able to turn data off and on, and access your child’s call history. Spriggy also states that additional features, such as turning off mobile data while your child is sleeping or at school, will be added to plans soon.

How do Spriggy Mobile’s phone plans compare?
There aren’t too many providers offering specific phone plans for kids: Moose Mobile offers parental controls in its app, while Yomojo offers family bundles with discounts. However, there are a range of prepaid and postpaid SIM-only plans available with smaller data inclusions from other providers, that could be suitable for kids with light data usage needs. Typically, you can find data inclusions around 5GB to 25GB for under $30 per month, or over a 28/30-day expiry period.
Spriggy’s mobile plans are a little more expensive for the amount of data included, especially when compared to low-cost providers such as Moose Mobile, Circles.Life, ALDI Mobile and Catch Connect. However, if you’re after parental control features for your child’s phone plan, you might find the small additional cost of Spriggy Mobile is worth it.
