Google’s latest Pixel series features some impressive specs, but carries the big price tags to match. If you’re looking at picking up your Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro, you’ll have your choice of the big three telcos, with the option to split the payment over 12, 24 or 36 months.

Vodafone Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phone plans
Vodafone offers both the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro across all storage sizes and colour options, with devices available to purchase on a 12, 24 or 36-month payment period. Once you’ve selected your device of choice, simply bundle with a Vodafone postpaid phone plan.
You’ll get 5G network access on all of Vodafone’s postpaid plans, along with no excess data charges, which means once you use up your fast data allowance, you can keep using data but at the capped speed of 2Mbps.
Vodafone Pixel 8 and 8 Pro deals
If you choose to pick up your Pixel phone on a plan from Vodafone, you’ll get some added extras. Vodafone is offering $350 of bonus trade-in credit when you buy the Pixel 8 Pro, and $250 for the Pixel 8. This adds up to a potential maximum saving of $825 in total (including the $350 for purchasing the Pixel 8 Pro) when you trade in a 512GB Google Pixel 7 Pro in good working order. This offer expires October 11, 2023 with trade in by October 25, 2023, terms apply.
In addition to the trade-in credit, you’ll score some G Store credit when you pre-order your Pixel phone — $250 with the Pixel 8 Pro and $150 with the Pixel 8. This offer ends October 11, 2023 with redemption by January 13, 2024, terms apply.

Telstra Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phone plans
You can pick up your Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro from Telstra, with all storage sizes and colours available on a 12, 24 or 36-month payment period, or to buy outright. You’ll then need to pair your device with a Telstra Upfront plan (including if you buy outright).
Telstra’s Upfront plans include no excess data charges (keep using your data at the capped speed of 1.5Mbps), along with 5G network access (although speeds are capped to 250Mbps on the cheapest plan). Telstra is also offering free Spotify Premium and BINGE subscriptions when you sign up, terms apply.
Telstra Pixel 8 and 8 Pro deals
When you choose to pre-order your Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro from Telstra, you’ll score a free Google Pixel Watch 2, valued at $649 AUD RRP. This offer is available to new and recontracting customers who pre-order their device on a payment plan or outright. To take advantage of this offer, you’ll need to pre-order your Pixel 8 device by 11:59pm AEDT October 11, 2023. Optus Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro phone plans
If you choose to pick up your Pixel 8 or 8 Pro from Optus, you’ll have the option to pay off your device over a 12, 24 or 36-month payment period. You’ll then bundle with an Optus postpaid plan.
All of the Optus postpaid plans come with 5G network access and no excess data charges, which means you can keep using data (at the capped speed of 1.5Mbps) when you use up your full-speed data allowance. You’ll also have access to Optus SubHub subscription bundling and a discounted price for Optus Sport. Optus is also offering a 50% discount on standard Netflix plans, free six months of Amazon Prime and two free months of BINGE when you bundle with SubHub.

Cheapest Pixel 8 plans
If you want the cheapest plan for the Pixel 8 series, you’ll need to buy the 128GB model of the Pixel 8 from Vodafone, pay it off over a 36-month payment period ($33.30 per month) and bundle with the $45 plan, which works out to be $78.30 per month in total for your phone and plan. Optus isn’t too far behind if you buy the 128GB Pixel 8 on a 36-month payment period ($30.52 per month) and bundle with the $49 plan, which works out to be $79.52 per month in total.
Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro SIM-only plans
