Optus postpaid plan inclusions and prices
If you’re picking up a new device on a phone plan from Optus, phone plans are separate to your device payment. What this means is that when you choose your device and the 12, 24 or 36-month device payment period, you then need to select a postpaid mobile plan to add on top of your phone costs. Keep in mind that these postpaid plans are month-to-month, but cancelling your plan altogether will require you to pay off the remainder of your handset.
All plans include 5G network access at no extra cost, so no matter which plan you choose to bundle with your new iPhone, you’ll be able to access the Optus 5G network. Plans also include no excess data charges, so once you’ve used up your data allowance, you can continue using at the capped speed of 1.5Mbps. Optus customers on eligable plans are able to access Optus SubHub subscription bundling service, along with discounted pricing on Optus Sport.
