Run, don’t walk! For a limited time, Coles is bringing back its in-store iPhone sale – meaning savvy shoppers can once again get their hands on refurbished iPhones from as little as $199.
The supermarket giant is continuing its partnership with prepaid telco Boost Mobile to offer customers a selection of in-demand iPhone models at cheap-as-chips prices. From March 29, Coles will stock some of the most popular refurbished iPhone variants, including the 64GB iPhone 8 for $199, the 64GB iPhone SE for $259, and the 64GB iPhone XR for $299.
All phones will come with a free $2 Boost Mobile SIM, along with a 12-month warranty and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you’re looking for a cheap alternative to a brand-new iPhone 14, or need a reliable starter phone for your child or teen, this sale is a great way to score a quality smartphone at a massive discount.
How are iPhones from Coles so cheap?
All three iPhones on sale are refurbished, rather than brand new. However, they undergo a rigorous 72-point inspection process, only making the cut for sale if they’re in excellent aesthetic and functional condition. Each phone also undergoes cross-checking against police lost and stolen databases, and is fully data-wiped and factory reset before making it way to consumers.
It’s possible your phone may show slight signs of gentle use, such as scuffing, but the device itself will perform good-as-new. Each iPhone is sold network unlocked, so it will work not just on a Boost Mobile plan, but with any telco operating on an Australian 3G or 4G network.
Here’s what’s available in Coles’ iPhone sale.

All plans are SIM-only, and include unlimited standard national talk and text to Australian numbers. Monthly plans also feature the option of rolling over unused data to the next month, with up to 500GB of data banking available; prepaid plans include 50GB of data rollover.
