What NBN plans does Optus offer?
Optus NBN plans are available across a couple different plan types and several speed tiers. There’s a more basic NBN plan type with speeds starting at NBN 25 and going up to NBN 1000, while the entertainer plan, which includes Netflix and other inclusions, starts at NBN 50 and goes up to NBN 1000 speeds.
All NBN plans from Optus are month-to-month and have the option to either add on a modem (for $0 when you stay connected over 36 months) or BYO modem. You can also add on a call pack, and Optus also offers customers the option to bundle a range of subscription services via Optus SubHub.
Optus NBN bundle plans
If you want a little more from your Optus NBN than just internet, there is a bundle plan with a little bit extra, which is designed with families in mind. The Optus Plus Family Entertainer plan has all the same inclusions as the Internet Everyday plan, but includes an Ultra WiFi Booster and Optus WiFi Secure. A standard Netflix subscription is also included for new and existing Netflix customers, which you can activate through Optus SubHub.
Optus NBN plans prices
The prices you’ll pay for Optus NBN plans depends on whether you choose the more basic internet-only plan type or the entertainment plan, along with which speed tier you choose and any additional extras you might add on, such as call packs. Optus NBN plans prices start from around $70 per month and go up to around $150. Keep in mind that NBN wholesale prices can change and Optus may adjust its NBN plan prices accordingly.
