Alinta Energy only has a small number of market electricity offers in New South Wales, Victoria, South East Queensland and South Australia.

• Standing Offer: Alinta Energy’s Standing Offer is the basic plan that equals the current AER’s reference price.
• Homesaver: The Homesaver plan from Alinta Energy has no lock-in terms or exit fees, and has flexible billing and payment options. This product has no frills, simply coming with competitive, variable rates. It has a one year contract term. Offer available in South East Queensland, South Australia and Victoria.
• Homesaver Essential: The Homesaver plan equivalent for Victorian customers.
• Homesaver Select: The Homesaver plan equivalent for New South Wales customers.
• Carbon Balance: Carbon Balance plans entitle customers to a 100% carbon offset for their usage, via offset units eligible under the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard.

Alinta Energy is perhaps best-known as an emerging electricity retailer, but it also sells natural gas in most areas. Customers in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland and Western Australia can sign up to gas. Currently, customers in New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia and Victoria can sign up to the Home Deal or Carbon Balance gas plans.

Alinta Energy has a range of natural gas plans in WA, including:

• Fair Go 35: 35% off gas usage charges for a benefit period of two years.

Offers in Western Australia are only available to natural gas customers in the Coastal Metropolitan Region.

Alinta Energy billing

One of the great things about large retailers like Alinta Energy is that there are plenty of ways to pay your bill. Alinta Energy customers can pay in any of the following ways:

• Online: Simply go the Alinta Energy website to pay your bill with MasterCard, VISA or American Express.
• BPay: Simply log on to your online bank account, choose Bpay, and type in the biller code and reference number on your bill.
• Direct Debit: You can set up Direct Debit using MyAccount or by completing the online form. Alinta Energy will automatically withdraw what you owe from the nominated account each quarter.
