Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV Wins Canstar Blue Innovation Award

This viewing technology offers an improved lighting system with quantum dots (a smaller type of light-emitting diode) and mini-LEDs to supercharge on-screen colours and offer superior brightness and contrast for a more cinematic experience at home. With that, you also get deeper blacks, wider viewing angles and reduced screen ‘burn-in’ – ensuring light is directed only where it’s meant to be.

What’s impressive is that Samsung’s Quantum Mini LED is just 1/40th the height of its previous LEDs, fitted on a microlayer to help deliver more control over the display’s backlighting. It also uses Anti-Glare technology so that you can enjoy watching TV in any room and at any time of the day.
