What is the NFL Combine?
The NFL Combine is an invitation-only workout for college football stars looking to make it big in the NFL. Each athlete is taken through a number of drills and workouts, including the 40-yard dash, bench press, vertical leap, as well as position-specific drills – allowing NFL teams to gauge how particular athletes perform, and if they have what it takes to compete in the big leagues.
When is the NFL Combine?
The 2023 NFL Combine kicks off Friday, March 3 Australia time, with the following positions taking the field:
- Defensive linemen and linebackers – 6:00am (AEST) Friday, March 3
- Defensive backs and special teams – 6:00am (AEST) Saturday, March 4
- Quarterbacks, tight ends and wide receivers – 4:00am (AEST) Sunday March 5
- Offensive linemen and running backs – 4:00am (AEST) Monday, March 6
How to watch the 2023 NFL Draft in Australia
The 2023 NFL Draft is available to stream on ESPN, Kayo and Foxtel, with coverage beginning on April 28, 2023 at 10:00am (AEST). The 2023 NFL Draft will be held in Union Station, Kansas City, and will be held over a few days as teams roll through 250-odd picks.
