What will I receive as part of the $61,200 prize pool from OVO Energy?
In addition to a brand-new Tesla 3, OVO Energy has said that the winning customer will receive $2,000 in electricity bill credit and access to its EV Plan on a 12-month contract.
The EV Plan on offer builds on the retailer’s current model, which rewards customers with cheaper usage rates during midnight and 6am to help drivers offset the costs of charging their electric vehicle. However, the lucky winner will also receive 100% GreenPower on their plan.
Please note, this means that if the winning customer is currently on another OVO Energy plan, they will need to be switched to this offer for a minimum of 12 months. The $2,000 bill credit will also be applicable to the usage and supply rates relevant to its EV plan.
Additionally, all entrants to the competition will be eligible for OVO Energy’s standard sign-up credit worth $100. This will be paid to customers over a 12-month period, to the amount of $8.34 each month.
A further bill credit worth $120 as well as an additional entry to the draw, can also be earned by customers who refer a friend. This too will be paid over a 12-month period.
OVO Energy’s plans come with variable rates across NSW, SEQ and SA, with fixed rates currently available for eligible customers in Victoria. There are no exit fees on its offers and customers have access to the retailer’s bill smoothing initiative to help manage their energy costs on a monthly basis.
