Android enthusiasts can save up to $600 on the most in-demand Galaxy devices this Easter, thanks to Vodafone’s massive Samsung smartphone sale.
The telco is slashing prices on some of its most popular Samsung Galaxy models, including this year’s Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+, as well as luxe foldables the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4. But if you’re eager to grab an egg-ceptional phone deal, hop to it: most of these offers end April 13, 2023.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series: save $300, plus trade-in credit
This year’s flagship Samsung series, the Galaxy S23 range includes some of 2023’s best devices, and now comes with a sweet $300 discount when you pick up selected models on a Vodafone plan. Buy the standard Samsung Galaxy S23 or larger Galaxy S23+ on a 24 or 36-month Vodafone device payment plan, and pair it with one of Vodafone’s SIM-only mobile plans, and you’ll get the following price cuts (not including mobile plan costs):
- Samsung Galaxy S23: save $300 (now $1,048.76 for 128GB model, $1,148.76 for 256GB model)
- Samsung Galaxy S23+: save $300 (now $1,348.76 for 256GB model, $1,548.76 for 512GB model)
As the discounts for all the Galaxy phones are spread out over your 24 or 36-month payment period, you’ll need to stay with Vodafone for the duration of your repayments to get the full price cut. If you cancel your service early, you’ll need to pay out the remaining balance of your phone at the full, undiscounted price.
Vodafone is also offering customers a trade-in credit of up to $500 for both the Samsung Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+, provided you purchase either device by April 13 and trade in your unwanted old phone by April 27. This $500 credit is in addition to the trade-in value offered for your old handset, but terms and conditions apply.

While there’s no discount available on the premium Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Vodafone is offering an extra $500 of trade-in credit for customers who send in unwanted devices, on top of the estimated value of each trade-in phone. Vodafone claims this could give customers up to $1,330 of trade-in credit, depending on the make and condition of their old device, although trade-in values will vary. Again, this trade-in offer is available on Galaxy S23 Ultra purchases made by April 13, terms apply.

Vodafone mobile plans
All of the above phones will need to be paired with one of Vodafone’s three postpaid, SIM-only mobile plans. Plans begin at $45 per month for 40GB of full-speed data, with $55 for 150GB and $65 for 300GB also available.
All plans include a high-speed monthly data allowance, along with unlimited data speed-capped at 2Mbps. This means you won’t pay any excess data charges for use in Australia. Alongside unlimited standard national calls and texts, all three plans also feature unlimited international texts, with international calls also included on the $55 and $65 plans.
Vodafone’s plans also include access to its 5G network, which is currently rolling out across major Australian cities. All of the phones featured in Vodafone’s Galaxy sale are 5G-compatible, so you’ll be able to use them on Vodafone 5G if coverage is available in your area.
